Tyson is very personable, patient and extremely experienced and this instilled confidence within ourselves. “We viewed and purchased our new home when it was about 6 weeks from completion and therefore didn’t choose any of the fittings and fixtures; however we couldn’t be happier with their style and quality. We were immediately impressed with the spacious, light filled layout of the home, especially the living/kitchen/dining area which captures the winter sun and naturally warms the home. It is a very practical design with no wasted space, perfect for our lifestyle needs. Paul and his team are easy to communicate with, professional, courteous, friendly and their attention to detail shows pride in their workmanship. "I had a fantastic build with Paul, Marnie, Tyson and the team at 33 South Building Group and am absolutely stoked with the end result. Paul took my sketches and ideas and ran with the whole concept. This time around I wanted a house specifically designed for me and my lifestyle, in a particular style and feel and that’s exactly what I got. They came up with great suggestions during the planning stage like my recycled red brick feature wall in the kitchen which I just love and really good work around ideas like the range hood bulkhead for my cooker in the island bench. Even in the midst of the building boom and shortages of trades and supplies, Paul and Tyson had a great line up of materials and trades were always on site resulting in a really quick build sticking to projected timeframes. I think the quality of standard fixtures and fittings was high and the flexibility in choosing or supplying alternative products was really good. Communication was always open and my questions were answered in a honest and easy to understand manner. I couldn’t be happier that I chose 33 South Building Group to build my new home, they really did take a lot of worry and stress out of the building process for me during an exceptionally busy period in my life. “We were very happy with the build quality. 33 South did really well with keeping the site in a reasonable state (very tidy for a building site), good control of materials was also evident with minimal wastage. We found Paul was always willing to listen to our comments, he had some great input and was able to discuss matters with a cool head. Paul did very well in advising when things were not going according to plan. Paul was open to suggestions and was able to move forward in a positive way. One instance in particular comes to mind, when the sliding door sill height did not meet our expectation. A quick resolution was reached with a negotiated outcome on the cost. We were appreciative of all the effort that went in to completing the home in time for my parent's visit and the flexibility that was shown when it came to handover with myself away for work. In short! Would we recommend 33 South Building? Yes we would and have already."

“Paul James of 33 South Building has just completed two homes for me in Cowaramup. Both are two story 4 x 2 with library, large 2 car garage and inner workshop/storerooms. The week of completion one was rented. Paul was very patient and polite throughout the entire process, we enjoyed working together on the project and I admired his meticulous eye for detail as I am usually called too fussy it was refreshing to have a builder on the same wavelength and ensuring all his trades follow suit. "Building our Yallingup home with Paul James was a very pleasurable experience. We were extremely happy at the end of the project but a little unhappy that the process was over as the journey had been so good. We were living 300 kms from Yallingup whilst we built. Paul was an excellent communicator and if issues arose (as they invariably do) they were always resolved quickly and without heartache. We cannot fault his workmanship or his choice of tradesmen. "We built with Paul James (33 South Building Group) and have not regretted it for one moment. Wendy and I had spent a lot of time with sales representatives for project builders and while they were all very helpful and obliging we came to realise a couple of important differences between the project builders and small independent builders; 1. The salesperson for a project homebuilder does not supervise the project. 2. Your contract is managed by office staff you may meet only briefly 3. Project builders, by their very business model, cannot be flexible, changes can be very expensive. However, an independent builder like Paul James is everything in the business. He is the salesperson, the builder and the supervisor. His 20 years experience in the building industry gave us the confidence and his personal involvement gave us the control and flexibility to design our own house for a better than comparable price. The quality of Paul's tradespeople was first class and the supervision attentive, detailed and consistent.
